We are looking for volunteer trappers in two areas we are targeting to spay and neuter outdoor, free-roaming cats. If you are a concerned neighbor in these areas, or see cats there but don’t know what to do, here is your chance to help! Even if you don’t live in either of these neighborhoods but want to help our community cats, we need you!
Trappers are needed to trap cats inside these areas prior to any spay day. You can use our equipment and we will pay to spay/neuter and fully vet the cats. We will recover the cats after surgery and then you will release them in the same spot they were trapped at 1-2 days later. No experience is necessary, we are happy to train you! This is the single most important activity we can do to save the lives of homeless cats and prevent unwanted litters of kittens who end up on our streets. Again, there is NO COST to you – we will pay for all vetting! If you are interested in helping, please contact us at (815) 539-CATS.
