We are saving hundreds of lives each year through our network of foster homes and off-site adoption locations. With a dedicated shelter and adoption facility, we could save thousands.
A new breed of animal shelter is urgently needed in Lee County and its surrounding areas. A shelter where animals are kept healthy through progressive shelter medicine standards, where pets live with dignity in suites and play rooms instead of wire cages, where the community can be actively involved, a place volunteers and adopters want to visit because it is a place of joy and happiness, not one of despair or guilt.

Do you know of the perfect spot for us? Safe House is searching for a property in the Amboy area on 2 acres MOL with convenient access for volunteers and adopters. Property with structures (house, pole barns, etc) capable of finished renovation are ideal but donated land would allow us to build to suit. Please contact us if you can help.
