Domestic Short Hair : : Female : : Young If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Felicia was found outside an abandoned house, limping and crying. One of our amazing fosters was able to take her in. Her vet visit revealed a caustic substance on her paws, a raw chin, and a horrible flea infestation. We started her on the road to recovery when another problem was discovered, her tail was necrotic! We don't know if there was a connection to her paw issue, or if it was a trauma. The vet suspected she may have chewed on an electrical cord when she was very tiny. Her tail needed to be amputated. This poor girl has been through so much, in such a short amount of time. She's only about 4 months old as of August 9, 2016. She's grown much more loving and playful as she's started to feel better, and even found a buddy in another Safe House kitten - Jan. We'd love it if these two girls could continue to live their lives together. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows: While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.
Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at
