Peanut is about 6 years old as of June, 2025. Adopted at 4 months, he lost his home, through no fault of his own in July of 2025. He struggled with the return to rescue when he lost all that he knew; and that truly was all that he knew. He had not been around humans, not been around cats, and had never been out of the house even to a vet. He took a month to adjust when back in rescue and a lot of TLC and patience. Now at 3 months into rescue, he is fully relaxed and adjusted; he's learned to love again. He is brave and sweet, loves belly rubs, pets and being held. He is getting along with the other cats free roaming in rescue! We think he will be a great fit into most homes! He will need segregation and time to adjust with his final move into his new home, He's up to date on all vaccinations and just had a dental 9/22/25, It won't' take long to earn Peanut's trust and he will be the sweetest family member. Adopt Peanut today! Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours.
