Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female : : Baby If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Nugget is about 2 months old as of July 2021. Meet Nugget! This sweet boy is a playing, purring, sweet boy! Watching him play, you might not notice at first that he is the victim of a birth defect which affected the proper growth of his paws: especially on the left side. It is just amazing how he has learned to compensate and how happy he is!
Nugget has jad to undergo a front and left declaw! What? Declawing is a horrible thing to do! Yes it is but like the vet said this is not something that they would recommend typically but Nugget is a different situation. His nails were growing abnormally inside causing him pain and limiting his ability to be fully mobile. He is neutered, negative combo test and an overall healthy baby!
Nugget is amazing and his prognosis is positive. He will continue to learn to be normal with his disability. He uses his litter box and really has no problems! We will work with the right adopter monitoring Nugget's condition for the first year.
