If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.

Linus is about 4 months old as of December 2021. Before his rescue last week, he had little interaction with humans. The little he had was positive, and he's definitely open to pets and holding. He's even started to purr when handled! With a patient person or family to show him the ropes, this little one will surely blossom. Application available at www.safehousepets.org

All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

  • $75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year)
  • $50 - Adult (1 Year +)
  • $25 - Senior (7 Years +)
  • $0 - FIV +
  • There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)
  • If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying.
  • We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.

If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
