If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.

Peppercorn is estimated about 1-2 years old as of November 2022. His family moved out of their apartment and left him behind, as hard as that is to believe. He was terrified and hiding in a pile of discarded furniture. He's not furniture. He's not garbage. He should never, ever have been left behind but he was. Thanks to some caring neighbors and our excellent relationship with a local vet, we were able to get into the apartment and rescue him. He's now vetted and ready to try again! He gets along great with cats, and is super affectionate with people and even children! safehousepets.org

All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

 

  • $75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year)
  • $50 - Adult (1 Year +)
  • $25 - Senior (7 Years +)
  • $0 - FIV +
  • There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)
  • If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying.
  • We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
