If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.

Joe is about 8 years old as of November, 2023.  He was a surprise during a TNR project when he was found in a trap, socialized, neutered and without an ear tip.  After searching for his family in the area he was found at, it was discovered that this boy had a microchip which we traced back to a travelling clinic in Indiana further muddying the waters as this clinic travels from Indiana to Ohio to multiple locations.  Unfortunately, the owner did not register the microchip and the clinic no longer had records from his 2018 vetting.  After a thorough search for his owner, no results were obtained.  That means Joe enters our Safe House rescue as an adoptable baby in search of a forever home.  He's a super sweet boy; a true lap cat.  He will need a little TLC to adjust in his new home and as he continues to gain weight.  He's been around other cats in rescue and he seems to not be bothered by them; he seems to ignore them and go on his own way.  Adopt him today!

All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:

• $75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year)
• $50 - Adult (1 Year +)
• $25 - Senior (7 Years +)
• $0 - FIV +
• There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...)
• If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying.
• We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125

While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat.  Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
