Hola! I am El Capitán! I am a great black mini-panther! Just kidding, I'm really a stunning solid black house cat, but in my heart I am a brave and noble panther! I am a senior kitty so I am extra wise and dignified. I enjoy the finer things in life, like sunny window sills, napping, and a delicious bowl of Fancy Feast served in crystal china like on the commercial. Oh alright, I don't really care what kind of bowl it comes in, as long as it comes!
I used to be someone's pet but somehow got separated from my owner and got lost on the streets. A lot of people tried to find my former owner but they weren't able to, so I lived outside for a while with some rough and tumble street cats and got to pretend I was a wild jungle panther! But then someone picked me up and rescued me so I could live inside again and be served Fancy Feast twice per day, which is pretty awesome!
I am a very mellow and relaxed kind of guy. I like to be pet and I will roll over and show you my handsome belly and ask you to pet it. I enjoy having my back scratched as well. Have I mentioned that I love Fancy Feast? I do. I am a shy kitty at first, it will take me a few days to come out of my shell for you - because wild panthers can't be too careful, you know? But after that, when I trust you, I will love you to bits! The shelter says I'm a very well behaved, nice cat. I don't scratch things up and I have nice litter box habits, and I'd be a great cat for a relatively quiet home. I do enjoy other cats, so if you have some of those I'm willing to share your house with them.
I'm about 5 years young, by the way. I feel great and I have a lot of things left on my bucket list so plan to have me around for a long time yet, ok? I'm totally healthy too so don't be planning to sneak me to the vet all the time!
My adoption fee is $50, unless you are also a senior citizen over 60 years, in which case my adoption fee would only be $10. (I'm a bargain!!!) I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV, and ready to rock.

Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
